In my closet I have literally about 200-300 vintage romance novels that a friend gave me.  She heard "I liked books" and dropped them off.  I like paranormal romance and historical romance... but these are the really old harlequins, with the old fasioned circle on the cover?

Does anyone know if there is interest in these books?  I think most are from the 60's, so they probably don't have ISBN numbers.  I'd post them if anyone thought there would be collectors out there.  The FOL doesn't want them- the jail said they'd take them if no one else would.  I kind of giggle to think of a bunch of big tough guys stuck reading old harlequins.  =)

You should try posting about them in the Book Baazar.  They get more traffic than we do in here.  There are all kinds of collectors, so you never know!!

Good luck!!

I know sometimes certain authors are sought after, especially those who have gone into mainstream writing. And there is always ebay :)

Some of the original series books from really popular authors are htf and WL.  But those sound like they might be too old for them.  I know some of the old Lori Fosters, Suzanne Brockmann and Nora Roberts series books are WL.  So I would look through and see if you recognize any of the authors.

I don't really care much for series romance. The only ones I read are Blaze's and some of the old ones by mainstream writers.  I've seen people offer book boxes in the bazaar.  They offer bundlles of say 10-20 books for 1 or 2 credits. You could list them all in a thread or you could do a blind box.  You know where people know they won't get a choice but that they will get x # of books. Something like that. I would peruse the BB for the rules and see what other people are doing.

They will sell well on ebay!  1 sell them together, you will make more money.  2 the buyer will pay for shiipping. 3 Before you post check out other group sells and see which ones is getting the most bids and post yours like theirs.
