I found this book to be a major disappointment. Being an avid collector of vintage Workbasket magazines and vintage knitting and crochet books, I was expecting the patterns to be updated versions of the very cool originals with maybe expanded size ranges (vintage patterns usually contained a limited size range), modernized terminology and current materials. With the exception of maybe 2 or 3 designs, none of the patterns looks remotely like the vintage original - and quite a few patterns that are available online for free.

Great book I would recommend to others. Many fun new ideas to knit and crochet with modern yarns.
