A good text for studying VA state history. If you home school in Virginia, this book will be helpful. I used it with two 4th Graders. It was published in 1991 so it is not completely up-to-date, but what it doesn't have, you can cover on your own. The only thing you are missing is the governors and what their administrations were known for, after 1991. The rest of the book is great - a good resource for VA history.

I got this book used, and when we got it, there are some drawings inside that we are not responsible for. There is nothing disgusting - looks like 4th grade boy sketches (adding mustaches to peoples' faces, that kind of thing.)
