Hi Everyone and Happy New Year.  Its time to start talking about our February book selection (please note that questions for the January Book - Behind Close Doors by Shannon McKenna, will be posted on January 15th).

Here are some of my TBR books to suggest:

Dance with me - Luanne Rice

Dear Emily - Fern Michaels

Dream Lover - Virginia Henley

Fashionably Late - Olivia Goldsmith

Please let us know your suggestions and we will vote starting January 7th.

I'm thinking something light and Valentine's Day-ish. How about Match Me if You Can by SEP? Or are we do for another historical?

Isn't Match Me If You Can part of a series?  I have that on my list of books to get but personally I like to read in order.  lol I wish I was a fast reader and then I can read the preceding stories and would definitely be up for this book.

I am open to any and all suggestions, so keep them coming  :)

It's vaguely connected to the Chicago Stars books, but not in any way that makes reading in order important, IMO.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to see if there was anyone else besides Willa and myself that wants to participate in February's book.

Willa - if its just us, do you want to take a break and try again in March?

For me, it all depends on the book that's chosen. And I don't feel quite well-versed enough yet to begin recommending books, lol.

I'm in depending on the book you guys choose.  I just picked up Secrets of the Tudor Court: the pleasure palace by Kate Emerson and The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig  - not sure if either of those will float your boat or not.  But I'm game for anything..

I don't have any of those books. I've read Pink Carnation but it was a while ago. So I might contribute to that if it's chose.  I'm am only reading books from my TBR now or from the library if they have what I'm missing for a series.

I usually end up with game books to read and don't get the monthly book finished in time for hte discussion.

It looks like The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig is the winner.

I will post discussion questions on February 15th.
