It was a Harlequin after all! It was published in 1998 in the UK and 2001 in the USA. Authors have to start somewhere and Harlequin is a good a place as any. That being said: I liked it. I liked the H/H, but their story was a somewhat far fetched. And, of course, the heroine has to keep her secret when she should have told the hero what was going on with her and her sister. Oh well, I guess there wouldn't have been much of a story if she had. Some of the segues from scene to scene were disjointed, but all and all I am glad I read it. Of course, this is a series so I have to read the next book to see what happens in the life of Lady Polly. If you want a fast read and not too much depth, this one is for you.
