An okay entry in the Silk & Scandal series. I wasn't as entertained as I have been by some of the others but neither was this the worst of the bunch.

My main complaint with this story is that it really meandered without purpose. The beginning was great and I was excited to keep reading but about a fourth of the way through, several points in the plot just seemed to come out of nowhere and I question how much the author knew ahead of time what direction her story would take.

If you're reading this book for pure enjoyment, that's one thing but if your main purpose is reading as part of the series, I think it could safely be skipped.
