My home computer runs off of Vista, no issues with PBS.  What's happening?

It is probably my computer but just trying to figure it out . It says it has to close down and there is a whole page of info. My husband thought he fixed it but it happened again. I know nothing about the technical stuff so can't explain it. It seems to happen on this site but I am here most of the time I am on the computer so that is probably why.

Very weird, I hope you can get it fixed!  What browser are you using?

It's not a problem with this site in particular, but a conflict between MacAffee and Vista, when you have more than one page open in Vista.  If you follow the "find out more about this problem" type links (or just google it) you'll find a patch you can run.  Mine still closes occasionally, but not several times a day like it used to.

I use Vista, I also use CA Security Suite and Comodo firewall (CA's FW isn't vista compat) and have had no trouble with this site.

Whatever the problem is that comes up, just copy down whatever string of numbers/letters or the exact problem the browser says.  Then, google that info and you'll probably come across a link with a solution in it.  That's how I solve most of my computer problems.  I figure if it's happened to me, it's happened to someone else who has posted about it somewhere.
