This book and the stories reminded and reaffirmed why I became a vegetarian. It was so interesting to hear others reasons why they became vegetarian or vegan and the ways they handle the inevitable questions and outright hostility we encounter almost everytime we have to eat around others. I wish I had sent my story in to be included but the authors are planning on putting more stories into more books like this and I hope to be included. I'm not a writer but this is one subject I am passionate about and my story might change someones life. I also think it would be good for me to put it all onto paper..maybe I will!! Great book if you care not only about animals but your health and the fate of our planet Earth.

As a 26 year vegetarian, it was both intriguing and inspiring to read how others became vegetarian. Well-written, engaging stories from everyday people who made positive changes in their lives.
