We've already voted by mail, but I just wanted to remind everyone here how important it is for us to vote.  Please make time on Tuesday and get to the polls.  If you need help getting there or have any issues with voting, call campaign headquarters and ask for assistance.  They will be more than happy to assist you.  If you have some free time and want to help, call campaign headquaters.  It's a great way to spend the day.

I'm going to have a busy day on Tuesday. First I have to go to work for 1/2 a day, then go to the dentist & get a crown put on a molar, then go VOTE, then get one of our foster dogs ready to go to the vet's office to become less of a man-dog.

Thank you for the reminder!!!

Four years ago when we were working the neighborhood for Kerry, we had the best laugh from someone we spoke with.  He said that he would be voting, even if his car broke down, even if it was snowing, even if he was breathing his last breath and had to drag his dying body through the snow - he would be at the polls!  We all laughed, but he really was serious.  I'm sure that he'll be voting Tuesday!!

I sent everyone that video from MoveOn.org, the one where they put your name in and show what happens if you are the one person that costs Obama the election.  My dad said that if he wakes up crippled and has to crawl to the polls, he will show up and vote for Obama.  On a local level, I made sure to vote for candidates that were pro-choice and pro-gay/lesbian rights.  Here's hoping!

Rock Star Girl,

Your dad sounds really cooled. Sounds like we share political views. Michigan is so backwards. Don't get me started on my states views on gay/lesbian rights.

LaTonya - I'm in Michigan also - so I totally understand.  It ticks me off that we have a state constitution discriminating against us specifically.
