I read this book in a few hours. No, I haven't seen the movie at all, but I read this book because of seeing the trailer for the film and then researching it and finding out that the couple of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter were believers of Jesus. It caused me to really want to learn more about it, so that is why I decided to read the book.

Kim was a baseball coach and Krickitt (Krisxann, I believe was the spelling of her real name, pronounced Kris-Ann) was a former gymnast who worked in regards to sports training, helping Kim out with his order over the phone. The two of them hit it off and eventually marry. Shortly after they wed, they get into a severe car crash that injured Kim pretty badly, but left brain problems in Krickitt. They both have a deep faith in Jesus and the book is saturated about the miracles in their life and the struggles they faced together but got through because of their love for God and the vow that they made when they married. I definitely enjoyed this story a lot!

An easy read, an engaging story, and a wonderful message about the power of commitment and what can happen when God touches hearts.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book, the writing style, and the powerful true story. I finished it in a couple days and passed it on to my dad, who started reading and enjoying it the same day I handed it to him.

At times the writing was a little too simplistic and I would have liked to have heard more of Krickitt's perspective.
