I absolutely love this book. Pastor Craig Groschel is a man of God and his God inspired words shook me to the core. He takes you through different areas of your life and teaches through God's Word how to break away from the normal and be weird for God.
Some of the areas are:

- Your Time

- Your Money

- Your relationships

- Your sexual puirty for your spouse

- Your Values

I love reading this book for many reasons. It made me stop and think about how I need to be weird for God and stop living my life like everyone in the world does ("Normal"). I have decided to live WEIRD for God and not live for the kudos of others. The only kudos I live for is God's.

If you want to stop living like eveyone else then this is the book for you. If you want God to shake your spiritual core then this is the book for you.

Craig Groeschel is quite an entertaining pastor. Throughout the book he encourages people to not be like the world, but to be individuals that stand up and live for Christ. This will dub you as "weird" by society, and that is a good thing. We should not make our standard for living to be that which glorifies our desires for ourselves, but for Christ within us. I felt really encouraged throughout the book as I sensed his concern and love for the people who read it. He focused a portion on how people in the US spend their money and how it is time to be viewed as "weird" for where our money is invested. He also talks about the way the world accepts sexual immorality today, and how we need to focus on obeying God's standards for sex and modesty, being very different from the world in how we live relationally. He also helped encourage people to not be selfish in how we live, where our focus is on success in business or wanting to live for our dreams, but to instead live for the Lord through our choices and how we treat others. It was truly a beautiful book and I read it in a little over a day's time.
