Currently I have a WL book that is being requested from someone with a suspended account, not just on hold, suspended.  I looked to see if I could order more from her, and that is what I found.  My question is, shouldn't the system just pass over a suspended account?  I am guessing that it will end up timing out.  Has anyone had this happen?

It could very well be a temporary suspension while the Team works out an issue with them, there is no way to tell from the message whether it is permanently closed or temporary. Give it a few days and if the account isn't opened back up use the Contact Us link to ask the Team if they can cancel the transaction so you can get back in the WL line.

The book request came up on 10/6, is that enough time?

October 6? The request has been languishing on a suspended account for over a month without being mailed?  If that's the case, since it is a WL book, definitely contact the PBS Team (use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of any PBS page) so they can investigate.

That must be a glitch. If the account was suspended, it should time out or be cancelled.

I recently had a similar situation. I ordered a book from someone and they accepted quickly. The next day, I went to check out their bookshelf and the account was suspended. They still mailed the book and I was able to acknowledge it normally. The entire transaction, from start to finish, was by-the-book. If I wouldn't have looked at their account, I would have never known they were suspended.

Hm, I just checked and he's still suspended...

Ooops! It was Nov. 6, and I had a mental glitch!  It says it will time out on the 11th.  Sorry about my mistake!  I was just worried when I looked to possibly order another book from her and the message said account suspended or closed.

Maybe it will all work out!
