Can you have the same book on both your wish list and reminder list?  Or is there some other way to see the number of copies available.

No, you can't have the book in both places.  I found that out the hard way.  Forgot I had something on my wish list and added it to my reminder list.  That removed it from the wish list.

But if the book is on your wish list, there shouldn't be any copies available.

There wouldn't be any copies in the system if it let you put it on your WL.  Not with that ISBN anyway.  I think when the new WL comes out the system will also show how many copies of a non-WL book are available in the system. So you won't have to add books to your RL to see since they will be combining the RL&WL.  If I understand it right, if a books available and you put it on your WL it will go into hold until you are ready to order it.  That's my understanding anyway.
