HI,

This offer is only for WY residents.  I have mailed almost 700 books and I have never mailed one to WY.  I sure would like to mail a few books to WY.  I could then say that I have mailed to all 50 states plus Puerto Rico.

If you are from WY, take a book off my shelf and pm me with your other 4 selections.  You will then have a total of 5 books for 1 credit.  If you take a free book, please reply to this message with your selections so others can track what is already taken.

Oh, did I mention that I have over 1000 books on my shelf.  LOL.  I feel sure you can find a book you would like there.

Please be sure you are on my shelf when you make your selection.  Otherwise the request will go to someone else.  One way to get to my shelf would be to click on "rubyG", then click on the number below "books listed".  Right now the number is 1056, although the number may be less by the time you see it.

Happy reading and remember - this offer is only for WY responders.

Hang in there, Ruby. It took a long time for me to get anyone to respond from WY. Don't know why, I know there are members there. Maybe they aren't aware of Book Bazaar!! I still have never gotten anyone to respond from North Dakota or Nevada and I'm sure there are members there, too. Those are the only 2 states I lack. Good luck in getting your map completed.

There are, in fact, 134 members in Wyoming.  I have been a member for almost 4 years and have sent out >4000 books and I think I have only sent out about 8-10 of them there, so hang in there and maybe you will hear from one of the members.  i suppose you could go to the member directory and send PM's to some of them who seem to have likely tastes.  Might work.

Winston's idea of pm'ing members in WY might work. I say might because I actually tried that with some members in North Dakota and still didn't get any response. Go figure!!

There are so many people on Paperbackswap who are not familiar with the Book Bazaar (I almost wrote, that you Freud, "Book Bizarre"), it is entirely possible that you might not get anybody to take the offer simply because it is not seen by Wyoming members.  It might be effective to look at the "wish lists" for various individuals from Wyoming and compare them with the books you have available.  If anybody has listed wishes for "same authors" or similar genre to the books you have available, you may want to PM that individual abot the Wyoming-specific bargin you are running.

As for me, I have been on Paperbackswap for just over a year and I have already sent a book to a person in Wyoming (Kennedy P out of Laramie).  Unlike real estate's mantra of "location, location, location," it seems to be the "luck of the draw" (or, more precisely, the "luck of the posted book") that drives the buying and selling on this site.
