Pretty good thriller with supernatural overtones about 2 "aging" mountain climbers (in their 50s) who go back to revisit/reclimb a peak from their youth. Lots of interesting details about mountain climbing & lots of creepiness of you're reading it at night. I was a little dissatisfied with the ending or else I would have given it more starts. (FYI: "The Descent" by Jeff Long is amazing and in my opinion his best book.)

Plot driven story with very well developed characters. The climbing routes he discusses can be viewed on the net and the difficulty he speaks of is there to be seen.
I thought this was going to be a straight book about climbing in Yosemite. Ehhhhh! wrong answer!
The primary plot remains hidden until well into the book. You're so busy with what you think is the primary plot you don't see it coming.
Twists and turns suspended a few thousand feet off the ground. Adrenaline rush in your easy chair. A real page turner.
