So I've  decided to return to the 80's!

Im looking for some light , innocent, beachy, summer fun kinda readind and I havent been able to find anything to cure my craving/

I asked myself what I read that gave me that feeling and it hit me, that was what I read in the 80's, when I was 13 to 17 and I loved the books from the First Love from Silhouette line!

so Im gonna read some of them again and I was happy to see alot of them available here!

Did anyone else read those and love them as much as I did???

Also if anyone knows a great romantic book with a plot that that takes place on a beach or in a tropical location Im open to suggestion!

The Trouble with Paradise by Jill Shalvis was a lot of fun. Romance, a tropical island, humor...

All Janet Evanovich's non-Plum books from the 1980s and early 1990s, re-released now, are fun reads... There was one that took place mostly on a boat... Love Overboard is the re-release title, I think.

Running Hot by Jayne Ann Krentz takes place partly in Hawaii... it's part of a series, though I'm sure you could enjoy it as a stand-alone. Paranormal, though. I think that one is her funniest yet. I just loved that one.

To Die For by Linda Howard takes place in the summer, I think, and is absolutely hilarious. ETA there is a sequel, Drop Dead Gorgeous. Come to think of it, I might have the order of those reversed...

Hmm. I'll have to branch out more with my reading. I definitely need some tropical settings.
