I am prone to planning my reading in themes and I think my next two themes will be the Middle Ages/medieval times, and pirates.  Can you smart Historical Fiction people make some good recommendations? I've put some of my likes and dislikes in my signature.  I'm gonna ask the nice ladies over in Love & Romance as well.  I can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

There's always The Greatest Knight by Elizabeth Chadwick.  It was published in the UK and will released later this year in the USA, but you can find it used on Amazon, Alibris or other used sites.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I've ordered some, added a bunch of stuff to my WL and I have a list of non-WL stuff that I'm looking for deals on.

Marsha Canham:  Swept Away, Pale Moon Rider, Through a Dark Mist, In the Shadow of Midnight, The Last Arrow

Christina Dodd:  Once a Knight, A Knight to Remember

Jennifer Ashley:  The Pirate Next Door

Pamela Kaufman:  Shield of Three Lions, Banners of Gold, Prince of Poison

I found three series of Historical Mysteries that sounded good.  Any feedback on these?

Margaret Frazer's Sister Frevisse series

Susanna Gregory's Matthew Bartholomew Chronicles

Kate Sedley's Roger the Chapman series
