I love to sew. My current projects are holiday charm bags. They are made with 5" sqaures and then quilted. I am also making some christmas stockings from kits I got at Hobby Lobby after Christmas when they were 90% off. The kits were originally 27.99. I can't imagine paying that for kit then spending countless hours hand sewing sequins and beads and appliqueing each little piece! I used to sew a lot of clothes when my girls were small - holiday dresses and sunsuits were my favorites. What do you like to sew? Also, I have a quilt going. The top is finished and i'm at the binding stage but seem to have lost steam.

I love to sew too.  I just finished making a set of placemats for my dining room...one side was flowers for spring and the otherside was and Easter print.  That was the 5th set (have one more set to make).  I also have been making lunch bags.  I have one I need to start on for next week for my neice's birthday.

Also in two weekends, I am going to a Sewing and Quilt expo for 2 WHOLE days.

Have you seen the free bag/tote patterns on the Better Homes & Gardens website? They have some great ideas.

I just got my first sewing machine a couple of weeks ago. I have never touched one before in my life (I'm 31). But I got several books and I am SO excited about teaching myself to sew!

I love sewing, have done it since I was five.  I have a lot of sewing machines, just acquired a Pfaff 7550 that I have wanted for years!
