This writer, also known as January Keck is one of the new hopefuls and a Dovecote Award winner. She is a female Stephen King with an underdog twist on human nature. If you like to read books for the pure twist and turn of it, like happy endings, and stories that often tell you how to resolve a life issue, then you'll like January Keck.

In War of Mind & Roses, a couple clash wills over the use of technology. The world opens up for Lexie when she learns how to navigate on a computer and surf the net.

In From the Skies Came We: This story explores a most unusual slant
on the epidemic of obesity on Planet Earth. It is all because the earth's atmosphere disagrees with a few, resulting in . . . . You have to read this! When I consider my change in weight when I relocate to different geographic locations in the extreme(at the other end of the globe, let's say) this story seems not all that far fetched. She is a bazaar and totally awesome writer.

This is not sci-fi. This author perches on the brink of creating her own genre and following!
