I am an author/writer, as well as a member of Paperback Book Swap! This was one of my first "warm-ups", is an eclectic group of short stories penned during my travels. The stories (in digest) are about:

STORY 1 THE WAR OF MIND AND ROSES
A woman who has learned to use the internet during a trying illness, and the husband who believes (mistakenly) that she is ADDICTED to the internet because he does not understand technology.

STORY 2 FROM THE SKIES CAME WE
This short story acts us to consider if obesity is really a lack of will power or genetic, but just what if it were something else? What if the national epidemic of obesity was caused because of interbreeding with those from another planet--one that does not quite adapt? God made man [somewhat] in his own image?

STORY 3 WOMAN IN THE GLASS
A woman in an abusive marriage finds her way out into the sunlight of her soul mate.

STORY 4 THE DOLL HOUSE
A rather victorian piece about a somewhat orphaned young woman who is trapped in an arranged marriage.

STORY 5 BEFORE SHE WAKES
A woman lies in a coma. The two men who loved her await vigilantly by her side. When she revives from her coma, she will have choices to make.

STORY 6 WHITE ZEBRA
A story about a biracial girl and the prejudice she
faces as a person of lighter color and employee
within a traditional black household.
