Book I focuses on the areas of auditory, memory/perception, classification, semantics and syntax/ morphology. The general question section focuses on increasing students curriculum knowledge. Some questions included divergent and convergent thinking, and some are just for fun.
Book II is more challenging but follow the same format as book one. Each warm up divides the activities into six areas with pragmatics replacing the auditory memory section from book I.
Book III continue the original format as in books one and two. Book III includes a new area Metalinguistics-"the ability to reflect on the nature and properties of language"
Metalinguistics emerges in book III as an important part of addressing higher-level thinking and generalization.« less
