I know I saw something about this at one time or another, but I don't remember what the concensus was.  I have a book that has had no water damage but the pages are alittle wavy.  I don't know how  that happen the book is brand new only been read by me.  Is the book postable?  My opinion is that it's good to go, but I hate to send out a book and get a complaint about it.

Hi Melissa,

You might  be remembering a thread that I started a while back.

The general consensus was that this is not water damage and is OK to post.

I would send it, and if the recipient complained, I'd suggest you reply that you bought the book new and it hadn't been near any water at the time it was mailed.

I've had this happen when I have left a ppb in the car all day in the sun.

I would agree it is okay to post/send.

Sometimes the pages are wavy when the books are still new on the shelf in bookstores.

Yes, I recently bought Jennifer Weiner's new book, and every copy at Borders had uniformly wavy pages.

I read somewhere that sometimes it's the paper the book is printed on.  Some books are printed on paper that's not as 'sturdy' as others.  Pat
