I notice that when you add a book to the "Books I've Read" List it uses today's date for the "Date Read" field.  Anyone know how I can update the date read to show a different date?

thanks!

I don't think that you can. If you subscribe to the Journal service, you can alter the dates for the books. (When you got them, when you started reading, when you finished, when you mailed off the book.) But adding to the TBR just records the date you added it.

I would prefer to use a free function (Books I've Read list) rather than paying $8.00 to be able to use the book journal.  I don't care to write a report on the books.  Just want to keep track of which ones I've read.   But anyway...thanks for the reply.

I like goodreads.com for that type of thing.  it is free as well and while I don't know when I read some books it keeps track of the ones I've read since I joined up

Leslie,

I signed up at goodreads and didn't know how to add you as a friend unless I was doing something where we add e-mails and get e-mails and I didn't want to get into that.  --or was there someplace else to do this?
