You can't miss with a Kelton Western. This one ws published in 2001 and tells the story of Texas after the Civil War filled with murderous outlaws, vengeful Union soldiers, and the always dangerous Comanches.
An exciting read of the formative years of the Texas Rangers after the end of the Civil War. First Elmer Kelton book I've read, but won't be the last.
