I was wondering if there is a way to know how many copies of any given book are already listed on PBS?  If there are hundreds of copies of a book I've read, I think I'd probably pass it on to a friend or donate to charity, than holding it on my bookshelf for an extensive amount of time.  Trying to see whether I should list "The Gargoyle" or give to a friend instead.  Thanks!

Add the book to you Reminder List. It will tell you there.

Just keep in mind that # of copies isn't always indicative of how quickly it will be requested. I've had books where mine was the only copy take months and months to be requested and I've had books that had a few hundred in the system requesed within just a few weeks.
