I just got an RC about a wish with book. It was rather lengthy. Most was okay but I could not meet the following condition. I can't find one anywhere. Do you have one? (Read carefully.)

----"When I request hardbacks.....I do want them to have the duskjact.."

I can not find a duskjact anywhere.

Just decline the Requestor Condition & the book will be offered to the next wisher.  If you don't have the dust jacket, you don't have it so you can't meet the RC.

I love funny spellings. On Craigslist, they're legion and so fun to read. "Rot Iron" furniture, bedroom armor (hmm!),  swade chair, torchshehair lamp, etc.

I don't have a spare duskjact...I looked in the bewro! :-)

It's slang - it's what the kids call getting held up at sundown.

"I got duskjact!"

"Word."

I declined that person, knowing that it was probably om other wish lists. I couldn't believe it when the next person had this RC.

If the book I am requesting is a Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Christopher Paolini or Harry Potter book then I am requesting them for my husband to display on his book shelf and would like them to be in good condition, not missing the dust jacket, no rips in the dusk jacket, no writting on/in the book. no warped pages, or water damage. basically I want it to look nice(and also be readable) for display purposes.

I am begainning to doubt my sanity or spelling ability. But I am declining this one also.

In other words she wants a new book.  LOL  Love the grammar and punctuation there.

I bet the next one you get will have an RC about a dawn jacket.

I've seen a few odd spellings on Craigslist as well.  I've found "docksons"  twice.  They are small, long-bodied, short-legged dogs in case you didn't know.  I've seen bedroom suits listed  (pajamas?)

It was chilly here tonight, I wish I had taken my dusk jacket with me when I ran out for milk! Thanks for the giggles.

Edited because I can't spell "taken" on the first try.

Yes, thanks for the giggle, Thomas.  I wish you'd enhance your profile -- I bet it would be interesting reading too :-)

Cheers,

Catt

"I bet the next one you get will have an RC about a dawn jacket."

Nah, more than likely it'll be about no smoking jackets allowed.
