I like to look at book lists to get ideas for new books and authors, specifically mystery/thrillers/ suspense and new popular fiction in my case.

Is there any way to search for titles of Book Lists or genre categories within Book Lists....say for example "Best British & Scandinavian Mysteries" , etc.? If so, i have not found a way to do it without having to just browse through al the pages of lists. .

Thanks for any suggestions?

Yes. There is the Club Tag Cloud. There is also the Club Book List. And if you mark a list to watch, then it brings up other lists that members who watch the same list you marked are also watching. So you sort of leap frog through lists. ( Start under Community, Book Lists, Club Lists.)

Thanks Emily....Yes, I have browsed through the Club Book Lists before but there are so many, I just wondered if there was a way to search for a specific type of list within those without having to go through all of them.

And, yes, the Club Tag Cloud is aso a good way to pull up lists of books for a specific genre or sub-genre. I do click on one of the tags from time to time, pull up the huge listing of books in that category and look for new authors and good sounding books.

However, it look like the only way to find a certain type of  Book List within the Club Book List section and see members comments on the books they added to open lists  is to just browse through them all until you find one of interest....Like Best British Mystery Series, for example.

Thanks for your reply and your help.

Also, Emily, your suggestion for starting a list for others to add to and letting that bring up other related lists is a great idea. Thanks.

You don't even need to start one.  Just start watching one near your interests that has several watchers.   That brings up all the lists the others are watching.

You know what I'd like?  I'd like a link on a book's listing that would take me to the book lists that include that particular book.

That would be nice.  Maybe down near the Tags.
