Is there a way to send a WL book to a member as a surprise? How can you get their mailing address? Do you only get their address if they order a book from you? I looked on her profile but no addy there. I want to send it w/o having to ask the member her address so it is unexpected. Kinda like a RAOK thing.

No.  The way to send a book would be to post it to their WL, which would make it not a surprise.  The other way would be to use the Send Book to a Friend, but you need the address to do that.  (Send to a Friend would be a surprise.)

Nope. Privacy issues says people would rather you not be able to surprise them by having their address.

If you had more than one of their WLs you could post one and send an extra as a surprise.

I think simply posting it to their WL with a PM that says something like, "Surprise ... a gift for you," would be a nice surprise.

I'm guessing you want to gift it to them, not have them pay a credit?  Do what Susan suggested and buddy them a credit at the same time.

OK Thanks! I guess I will just post it to their WL & give them a credit at the same time. Not quite as surprising but still ok :)

Oh yeah! Forgot about the credit involved. Gifting it back is perfect. No, not the ideal surprise but still a very nice gesture all around.
