I love getting them for books; I've gotten several wishlist books in differing ISBNs from the "similar to request" messages... but now I've wishlisted the entire Harry Potter series on audio CD, and I get 20 emails a day or so for "similar to request" paperbacks.  So is there some way to limit "similars" to audio for audio and book for book?

There isn't. And it is a PITA I know. I've been getting emails almost daily about a book I want in hardcover for almost a year now.

No there isn't. I had to turn my emails off.  I like some books on audio and they are readily available in the system.  I was getting a barage of emails everyday telling me there were other versions available.  When I add a book to my WL, I check to make sure there isn't another version available first and I try to add any other versions to my WL that I'm willing to accept.

You can go to  My Account / Settings / then scroll down to "I DO NOT WANT" .... then choose "Wishlist - Other Versions" but that will stop ALL Wishlist - Other Versions.

i was getting the same thing similar to book you requested.

But I discovered that it was throwing me out of line in the Wishlist line  (say Position in Line 4-6) it was throwing me back into 6th position on my wish list books I want.   I discovered that if you take the Auto request yes off and just mark Auto Request No you will stay in line and you will not loose your position in line.

the reason I know this and learned from experience is I keep a daily (twice and sometimes three times) list, and what position I am in line to get that book.
