I've wishlisted a book that is supposed to be out in the US in February or March and I am the first (and I think the only) wisher. A UK version of this book came out in October -- but using the ISBN for that version doesn't bring anything up on PBS. Am I right that there is no way, then, to wishlist it (to get "in line" in case someone happens to get a copy of the UK edition and post it here)?

If you have the details and the box turns green when trying to set up an ISBN (meaning it recognizes the ISBN) you can set it up yourself.

I just went through this myself recently with a U. K. book due out next year, with U. S. edition to follow much later!

You must post the book to your own shelf, as though you owned a copy, filling in the publication details (I estimated the required book dimensions as best I could). Once it's on your available bookshelf, IMMEDIATELY remove it.

At that point, it exists in the PBS system, so you can add that ISBN to your wishlist.

Thanks folks! I appreciate the tips. The box does turn green when I put in one of the UK edition numbers, so I may try the add-and-remove trick.
