Had to wait a long long time to get this book but really enjoyed it, but maybe because I lost my mother and more family members to cancer.  This was a wonderful book about friendship and the journey of letting go when facing terminal illness. Loved it......

Jody..I read this book awhile back, and to this day think it's been one of my favorites...I too lost my mother to breast cancer, and I think a lot of this book hit home...I highly recommend this book to all women really.

If you liked this book because someone in your family has experienced cancer, you might also like One True Thing by Anna Quindlen.  I read it shortly after my dad passed away from cancer, and cried healing tears of grief.  It has since been made into a movie with Meryl Streep, but reading the book was so cathartic!

I recently read Do They Wear High Heels in Heaven and I loved it!!! I am currently battling breast cancer, so some parts of it were a little hard for me to read, but it's one of the better books i've read lately!
