A while back, someone posted an link to a smaller, online eBook store that has coupon code discounts every now and then. The more you buy the more you save. I remember putting a few J.D. Robb's In Death eBooks in my cart. They came in a few formats, so I could pick ePub, PFD, Mobi. The books, discounted were down to about $4-5 each. I thought it was fictionwise.com, but I just went there and they have NO J.D.Robb books at all.

Does anyone know which site I'm talking about? It wasn't one of the major chain stores like Sony or Barnes & Noble, Borders.

Thanks!

I doubt this is the same site you are looking for but your post reminded me that I had not checked prices recently on the In Death series ebooks. I ran across them on this site.   I'm still trying to figure out what the catch is (seems way too good of a deal) but thought you might like to take a look.  I have never used iOffer.

i have never used it but fictionwise was acquired by Barnes & Noble & seems like many people had issues with how it was run since then.  They also got all messed up in the agency pricing model implemented in about april this year.  5 of the largest publishers now set the price for the book, so it will be the same at all the e-book stores. Lots of ebook retailers had issues when the model was implemented and all books for the publishers were pulled from thier websites for a time.  If you look at the inkmesh link above, you will see that the first book on the list appears to be about the same price in all stores that carry it.  If you go to the amazon link you will see in the pricing section that they specifically state that the price is set by the publisher.  Coupon codes may still exist, but I am not sure if they exclude the agency model books.

so if you are remembering info from before April, the scene has changed.

Ronda, that's probably what happened. I thought the site was fictionwise, but then they don't have any J.D. Robb books. They must have all been pulled and didn't feel it was worth getting those books back if they people can't apply their discounts to them. Bummer.

The Sony store has what looks like all of them (ePub) but they're almost all 6.99 each.
