We have two weddings coming up in our family. Can you recommend any really good planning and craft books......especially money saving ideas and modest wedding gowns? Thanks in advance for any help. If you have books on your shelf and can offer me a deal I will be very grateful. Peggy

Always open to deals on multiple book orders from my shelf.

Did you here the unbelievable story on the news of the Soda Can Recylers to pay for their wedding?

I give them credit cause I couldn't deal with the pictures of bagged up soda cans filling their livingroom.....

I don't have any books to reccommend to help prepare for weddings but I do know that my niece got married this fall and with me being unemployed I made her a boquet of books I got here on PBS and they ended up with 25 books and told me they really really appreciated them & that it was very special to them that I put so much time & effort in their gift. I had gotten a inexpensive round Plastic Laundry Basket and covered it (bottom side in to middle with a black dollar store plastic tablecloth then used white wire bridal decorations all around outside. I wrapped the 5 WIFE books in White with bridal flower decoration, 5 HUSBAND Books in White w/ Bowties Cut from Black Plastic, 5 MARIAGE & 5 General Household (Recipe, Do-It Yourself...) & the Last 5 Wrapped in all black with the instructions " If you Care to Dare open these in the Bedroom ;)

I can suggest if wedding food details hadn't been made to check with a local college if you have one. I was amazed at how good & how beautiful their work was an it was less than half the price.

Sorry I didn't have the answers you were looking for but having just saw that on the news tonight I had to share....

Take Care,

I don't have this book on my shelf because I am currently using it but if you go to theknot.com they have a DIY book for almost everything that you will need with planning a wedding. It has been very helpful for me since my wedding is in about 6 months
