I checked this book out from the library because I wanted a work out program I could do at home. The down side of this book is that it is WAY too wordy. I checked it out to get a workout program--NOT a "you need to feel better about your body, you beautiful you!" psychology session. It seemed like the entire first half of the book was on how much I should love myself. I skipped most of it (as it got old after the first chapter).
On the positive side, I liked the exercises. They are fun to do, easy to do, and can be done anywhere--not just at a gym. All you need are a couple pairs of weights (and, really, the author gives suggestions on around-the-house things that can be used as weights, so if you wanted to start and didn't have the weights you could). The pictures were clear and helpful.
Overall I liked the book and will probably get my own copy sometime in the future for the exercises. It's not like I ever have to read the first few chapters again.
