Whoa - a couple of head coach firings that affect us  -  Lovie Smith - Chicago Bears & Chan Gailey - Buffalo Bills.  Cynthia & Alex, what do you think about this, will you miss them alot or will you be glad they are riding out of town?

Joy I was sad that Lovie got fired on NYE:( I think they could've waited a few more days. I know he had 1 year left on his contract but think not getting in the playoffs really affected the decision of the GM's. I think 4 teams so far are interested in him (Lovie). I also noticed there are 5 people that the Bears are gonna look at for coach so far. Thanks for asking:)

Joy - I am glad to see Gailey go.  He is a class act, but not coaching material.  I wish him the best.  I think Lovie Smith is the best person for the Bills.  Rumor has it that he has a desire to go there.  Right there tells me he is the man for the job.  I am surprised that CHI even let him go.  Not to many coaches want to go to Buffalo so that is a plus for him.

That would be super, Alex.  He is such a good coach.  I was surprised Chicago let them go as well.  He would be great in Buffalo.

Sorry about Lovie Cyn.... and you are right.  That stinks to fire the man on NYE.  Just hope no one gets Andy Reid.... I have lurked on the Eagles web site long enough to know that the fans are thrilled to see him go and that includes alot of old timers.  But I can't help but feel bad for the man because he also lost a son this year.

Congrats Bettyjean & Alex on picking all 4 teams to win! I thought Washington was gonna pull it off. Poor RG3:(

Congratulations Bettyjean & Alex!  Cynthia you did great, too.  You may send your sympathies my way for such abysmal picks.

I feel really sorry for the Vikings QB.  I've rarely seen a quarterback who really couldn't throw a pass like him.  Never threw a pass in a regular game this year.  I can see why he wouldn't get much of a chance, but they do make him throw in practices don't they.  Poor guy, I hope this doesn't scar him for life.

Thx Joy:) I made my picks on who I thought would win this time instead of who I wanted to win. There's always next week. But just think you're the only one that still has a team in the playoffs:)

Thanks and congrats Alex.  I was really torn about the Skins/Seahawks, but I thought RG3 was not up to his usual self.  Even though we will be always playing him, I certainly don't want to see him hurt.   He really needs to curtail his running instinct a little... he will end up like Vick if he doesn't.  Good luck with your Pats this week Joy!

Thank-you!  Do you think it will help if you wear your lucky socks?  :)
