"Weekend in Paris" is told in the vein of the Shopaholic series. A lot happens to Molly Clearwater in the space of 48 hours as she quits her job and takes an unexpected trip to Paris. I was breathless at the end of the book as so much had been crammed into Molly's short weekend - a fun, romantic story.

This book is full of twists and turns. The main character starts out as an insecure person and in the end through situations ends up confident and more content with her life. I recommend this book to anyone who loves Europe as there is name dropping of many famous attractions. This book is also for those who enjoy and easy to read books with light romance and life situations. I finished this book in 2 days as it was hard for me to put it down. I am now starting "A Summer in the City" which hopefully will be just a good.

I borrowed this from my daughter and wasn't disappointed..."Week-end In Paris" is a great summer book. Fun and light hearted. But then a book about Europe and Love, what could be better?

Molly finds that her weekend away from her troubles is turning into a voyage of adventure, passion and self-discovery that will change her life forever. A zinger of a book, sparkling with wit, full of twists, and utterly romantic. I loved it!!

Looking for something light, I picked this book off my shelf and sat down to read it. Right off the bat I was hooked. Because of the review by Meg Cabot on the front cover, I expected the story to be fairly fluffy. It was, however, unlike Cabot's books, and many others of the genre, I found this book to be refreshingly light on internal monologue trauma-drama. While yes, there was some, it was enough to give the character depth but not enough to exhaust the reader.

While the believability of the story is,of course, far fetched, anyone who has ever had a dream of spending a magical weekend in Paris would tell you "Hey, it could happen!" :)

All in all, this was a great read. Light, funny, sexy, and left me feeling good but not in sugar shock.
