I sent a lot of multiple book orders last week w/PBS d/c, and although a bunch of them were scanned the first time on the 19th, and a couple on the 20th, and some several times since as well, PBS isn't showing any of them scanned as of yet. Did the site updates and all of the downtime preclude the transmissions from USPS?

I think the only way you will get a knowledgeable answer to that is to ask the site admin through Contact Us in the lower right under Company.

I usually recommend people give 24 hours after the first scan shows up on the USPS site to see them hit PBS, then send in Feedback. They can manually trigger the quick credits if the scans are not making it to PBS.

I kind of figured that, but also thought by now....someone might have received an answer. I didn't want to add to the load as I'm sure they got a bundle of messages after the outages, and by the time they get around to dealing with mine, I think the books will have been delivered! Several are out for delivery today, so if they aren't marked by Wednesday, I'll contect them then. "Quick Credit" is a misnomer on all of these. :-)

I sent out 3 books on Saturday with DC confirmation and not one of them is marked as scanned.  I had to wait til after the outages on Saturday to mark them as mailed.  I'm hoping to get the credits tonight.

I had a requester send me a thank you message for a book that I sent her.  The PBS DC only showed 1 scan from the minneapolis post office.  I thought that was pretty odd.

I had checked all of mine on the USPS site, and they'd been scanned several times...one (so far) was marked delivered today by the recipient. I mailed it the 18th, it was scanned the 19th & 20th, and delivered today, but neither of those scans made it here. Hope you get your credits with the next update.

Jodi,

The weekend hiccup has affected the PBS Printed Postage and DC information.   If you have a book that has been scanned or delivered and you haven't received credit you should let the team know using feedback through the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page under the Company heading.  Otherwise, you'll be waiting until the requester actually marks it received.

I still haven't gotten credit for my three mailed books yet.  I just sent a PM to the team.  Hope this gets worked out soon.

Well, if this isn't weird.  I've clicked on the map for all three of my books.  All three books are showing up in transit on the map but no credit.  What is the sense of paying for DC confirmation if I don't get my credits?

I'm not in dire need of credits, thank goodness but it is aggravating.  The main reason I get the confirmation is so that I am guaranteed the credits.  Especially if some wish list books start coming in.

Well...I'll wait and see what happens.  Grrr

Susan,

The map is almost never accurate.  Click on Details to see if there are scans registered by PBS.  If there are no scans then you won't get your credits.  You can then check to see for sure where your books are by copying and pasting the DC # at the USPS website to see if they've actually been scanned by the USPS.  If so, copy and paste the scan information in feedback to the team.

Susan -

I had checked all of mine at the USPS site previously to verify they'd been scanned and/or delivered. Those that hadn't been already marked received by the senders, I copied all the information and sent it via the "contact us" link early this morning because I know some people are traveling for the holiday and it may be awhile before they mark them received. I just received my "quick credits" on all of them I provided the info for.  :-)

Thanks, everyone, for your help.  I had checked Details and it showed scans.  The team contacted me and said that the credits are there now.  They were backed up before.  All is good.  : )
