I stumbled into this book while looking through a friend's library. I'm always interested in finding new inspiration to pump up my own health program, be it diet or exercise. What impressed me is that the author is a P.H.D., in her 50's (at the time the book was published) and she's totally ripped! I also like her no-nonsense approach and humor.
I am 57 years old and do not believe that aging is an excuse to get fat and out of shape. Very occasionally I see someone who is older but super fit and that is something I admire greatly.
The book lays out a step by step plan to get fit starting from wherever you are and if you have the motivation all it takes is to get started and follow through. What could be more worthwhile?
