Anyone else ever seen this before?  Is this something I should notify the team about?

I only see it once when I look at your WL.

When I just looked at the WL, I also saw the book listed twice (same cover, same ISBN, same format, title and author spelled the same for both).  Maybe the second one was a glitch? I think I'd ask the team if it was OK to delete one so that it was only taking up one space.  I'd be too afraid of both of them disappearing (unless you are the last wisher?) to run the risk of deleting one without the OK from someone more computer savvy than me.

I've had that happen before when I accidently double/quad clicked on the Add to WL tab.  I just go in and delete one from my list.  You're still left in the same spot, only the one you checked will be deleted.

There are ways to accidentally list the exact same item more than once on your WL. You just need to delete all but one of them, and everything's back to normal.

I heard back from the team, and they said that sometimes there's a system "hiccup" that causes a duplication when putting a book on a WL.  They deleted the extra one for me, so all is back to normal.

4 years on this site, and I still learn something new all the time!

I ran into that by accident a while back. When that happens, the extras count as spots, but don't show up in the total. My WL said 198, but I couldn't add any more titles. It took coming here and someone else looking to notice I had an item listed 3 times. I managed to do it again just the other day, but I caught myself as it happened. I had been expanding a wish, and it was taking awhile to acknowledge adding a listing, so I went to the book details page and added it from there; lo and behold, both wishes went through, and I wound up with a duplicate.

I've had that happen a couple of times too when there was an intermittent problem with my connection...I clicked wishlist button two or three times because it looked like it hadn't been added, then when I came back a few hours later, it was there 3 times! Thankfully it didn't affect the original wish when I deleted the two extras.

I wonder why I only saw it once.

I just requested that book from another trading site.  It's already been marked mailed.  I will try to read it quickly (if it's postable here) and ask if you want it posted right to you.  Unless you prefer that I don't.

ETA: I also have the Helenkay Dimon book and 3 or 4 of the Jill Shalvis books in my TBR.

Thanks Mary- I'd love it when you're done!  I just recently read Lavender Morning, so would love to read the next book before I completely forget what happened in the first one!  I appreciate the offer, and you know where you can find me in the L&R forum.  Thanks again!

That isn't the first of the series?  I though it said bk 1 when I looked at it before.

Ack. It's book 3.  I'll see if my library has book 1 and 2.  Or find out if they have to be read in order or not.

OK-library has first 2 on audio.

Mary, this is kind of a weird series.  Lavender Morning is the first one, which takes place in the present time.  Book 2 goes back a few generations and is about the ancestors of the main character in Lavender Morning.  Then book 3 comes back to the present time and picks up where Lavender Morning left off.  I haven't read book 2 and probably won't- I'm more interested in seeing what happens after the events in book 1.

Btw- I have Lavender Morning in paperback if you are interested in it.  It's currently on my list for the HSRVB, but we're between rounds, so if you want it I'd be happy to add it to my bookshelf so you can order it, and will get it out right away.  LMK if interested.

Also, any of the other books you mentioned that you have on your TBR that I have WLed would be very welcome!  Thanks for the offer- just let me know if/when you have any available!

Sounds like the Arcane Society books by Amanda Quick/Jayne Castle.  She write historicals about the Arcane Society as AQ then contemporaries about their descendants as JC. Then she also writes futuristic ones about the descendants of the present day people-but on another planet (Harmony) and under the name Jayne Anne Krentz.

Even though they are all connected, they don't have to read in order.

I'm going to get the 1st 2 free on audiobook from the library.
