Book Bizaar. Post that you have different edition of a WL book. Some want the edition that goes with a certain ISBN. |

Yes, there's a thread in the Book Bazaar (one of the discussion forums on the Community menu) that is especially designed for posting other editions of wishlisted books, as xengab said. |

You could add a tag with the ISBN that is on your book"also available under ISBN #XXXXXX" to the wished for version. Just be certain the wished for book really is the same and there isn't some feature that is missing/different that would make them want the wished for one instead of your version. I usually add the edition I have to my Reminder List, and if there are a lot of copies available I don't bother -figure there's something I am missing that makes them different. If there is only a handful of them available, then I apply the tag. |

Sometimes people don't know not to wishlist the throwaway ISBN numbers the system generates when you use the "post a book without an ISBN" option. |

Does "strange" mean short? The five or six digit ISBNs are randomly made by PBS for books posted without a ISBN. Such as when a paperback and the hard cover share one number. Folks do wish list these books even though PBS recommends us not to. |

I, for one, am very particular about which ISBN's I list. At least you actually checked the ISBN. I've had several people send me the wrong version of a book, where they were too dense to understand that they did anything wrong. |

To Tammie: Sometimes evil publishers reuse ISBNs. (Cruel world.) In a case like that, the first title posted to the ISBN here becomes the official PBS title. Any other titles with the same ISBN have to be listed here without using the ISBN.
When you search, be sure you choose "all books" in the box that pops up on the left, and if the book title showing with the ISBN has any misspellings, well, you'll have to misspell the words the same way in order to find it. If there are no copies of the other book currently posted, it might be possible to get permission to change the title to your book. Anyone on the book data team would be happy to help you with that. Just PM one of us. |

What is the ISBN? try putting a zero in front of the ISBN. Also look on the copyright page, check if the ISBN matches the back of the book. Otherwise, great suggestions about putting on the BB or taging the wishlist book. |
