Teresa is moving to the Idaho territory. She meets the leader of their expedition Mr. Anderson and likes him.He is tall and distinguished looking. He told the people in his party that they were pioneers and that the hardships of the journey would give way to the pleasures of new homes and new lives. Teresa said that she was happy with her old home. Mr Anderson said that the Idaho territory was not far away. He makes the journey sound like a piece of cake, But I am sure that it is is not.Excellent historical book.

Beautiful book.Great gift.

Mr. Anderson came to our car to talke to us right after breakfeast. I thought i would dislike him immediatly, but did not. He was tall and distinguished looking and seemed not to notice the smell of garlic and sausage and boiled potatoes and cabbage and onions... Mr. Anderson introduced himself and then said,
"...Each 1 of you is a pioneer in the true spirit of this country..." He told us that tge "hardships of the journy will soon give way to the pleasures and pride of new homes adn new lives..." I dont know about this as i was perfectly happy in my old home adn old life, but Mr. Anderson has a nice voice adn the Idaho Territory didn't seem so impossibly far away today...
