Annabell St. Clair had the voice of an angel and the devil at her heels. On the run for a murder she didn't commi. the world renowned opera singer was reduced to singing in saloons until she found a handsome gunslinger willing to take her to saftey in San Francisco.

A restless bounty hunter, Shelly was more at home on the range than in Annie's polite society. Yet on the rugged trail he couldn't resist sharing with her the passion as vast and limitless as the western sky.

A wondeful read. I could not put the book down.

I really liked this book. Linda Winstead Jones is a great author. One of my top 5 favorites. Don't be fooled into thinking that the book is going to be all opera based because it wasn't. Thanks goodness. The romance in this book was perfect & didn't take long to get things started. There is a small Indian scene in this book that is really great. I really enjoyed all the stops they made along their journey. I would've enjoyed some laughs in this book like the last book I read from Linda but overall I'd say this is a great read.
