A member requested a BoB swap from me almost a month ago. I accepted and mailed my books. According to the BoB site, she hasn't mailed my books yet [at least not marked them mailed] nor has she acknowledged receiving my books. I've PM'd her twice, but she has not responded. Today, after checking her account, I see that it has been suspended or closed. Is there anything I can do, or PBS can do, to get her to at least respond to me so I know what's going on? Or is there somewhere else I should go to find out the answers?

Thanks for any help,

Shirley

I would let TPTB know what happen.

I agree -- please go down to the bottom right corner of any page.  Under "company" click on "contact us."  Use the Feedback option to let the Admin Team know.

At a guess, you're not the only one having a problem with this member...thus the suspended account.

Thanks to the PBS team for responding to my problem. Apparently this member has more than my books and not responding to any of them. it's a shame some people seem to take advantage of anything that's good.

Sorry this happened to you. Same thing happened to me. I sent a box of 8 books, mine never came, and when I checked the account was suspended. I contacted TPTB and they told me that this person owed a lot of credits for a lot of B-o-B orders. They refunded as many credits as were available in her account to a few people, but I was too late.

Most people are not like this though. I had plenty of great trades using B-o-B and had no problems.

Lisa,

You're right about most Boxers being honest and dependable.  This is the first one I've had a problem with and I've sent out a lot of BoB swaps. I don't expect to get any return on the books I sent, but hopefully this will alert people to the fact that it does happen.  There always has to be some people who try to take advantage of a good thing, and PBS is certainly a good thing!!
