I have 16 books by Thirkell.  The problem is that they were published in the early 70's in cheap Pyramid editions so they are, at best, decent reading copies.  The covers on most are dingy (they were basically white with a drawing as an illustration.  Some look like they have water stains on the top edge.  This is weird because the pages are completely undamaged.  I suspect the cheap ink that was used has faded because there are no dampness  waves on the cover or any of the pages.  All text pages are tight and clean.

Ordinarily, I would just shove them in a bag for the Salvation Army but I know folks want to read these.  There are none listed and long waiting lists for all of them.  Any suggestions?

Thanks

They sound postable to me.

ETA   I re-read the OP;  yes, the water damage makes it un-postable.  I obviously needed sleep at 6:35 this am....    sorry.

Water stains wouldn't be postable.

I would offer them in teh book bazaar and put them on your Bookshelf header, your signature and in your profile. State the condition and that they are WL and if you are offering a deal on them or not. You might get lucky and find someone willing to take them all for a few credits off-but you would save on postage.

I don't know what genre those are but in the appropriate genre forum there might also be a thread going for people to offer WL books.

Good advice.  I have one perfect copy which is a Hogarth Press oversized and another I would feel very comfortable listiing.  Maybe someone would want all 16 for 4 credits.  I'll go over to the Book Bazaar and see what happens.

Thanks

I would see how much the postage would be to mail them all before I set a credit amount.  You can weigh them and look it up on the post office website.

Books are spoken for!  Thanks for your suggestions.
