Hi all I have two boxed sets of box I want to list.

The first is a 4 book set of Tolkien - Prelude to the Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and the Return of the King.

The next is C. S. Lewis The Chronicles of Narnia books 2-7 Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Trader, The Silver Chair, The Hourse and his Boy, The Magicians Nephew, and The Last Battle.

What is the best way to list these? Do I list them separate? I would like to list them as a group and keep them together what do you all think? Thanks

if they have one isbn # for the set I would list them that way, but you will only get one credit that way- if you list them all seperately you would get a credit for each book. Are any of them wishlisted? If they are then I would post them to the wishlist- that way you get the credit faster and you will make someone's day.

The way I've handled it in the past is to post a message in Book Bazaar - for a three book set, post a message asking for 3 credits for the set and to PM you if interested.  When a person agrees and buddies to you the three credits, post the set directly to the person who sent the credits to you.  (You can give them the ISBN to post to their wishlist, then post your book directly to their wishlist.)

Just remember, you can't ask for more credits than there are books in the set, because PBS rules are 1 credit per book.

This way you will get a credit for each book.  If you post the set as a set, you'll only get one credit per set.

Like Michelle said, if you list them as a set, you will only get 1 credit for the whole set of books.  Which, if you are a die-hard 'set' fan, you may not mind this.  However, some don't care one way or another as long as they get credits.

You could also advertise the sets in the Book Bazaar, asking a credit for each book, stating that you wanted/hoped to keep the sets together.  If there are fans of those books out there, most would be willing to work a deal.

(Great minds think alike, Robin!)

Just to add to what was already said- check to see if the ISBN on each book is WLed before you post.  Otherwise, you won't be able to keep the set together, because each book will be offered to the next person on the WL.  That's why it's better to offer the set in the BB- if someone wants them, they can put the ISBN of each book on their WL and then you can post them directly to their WL to get your credits- no buddying necessary.

Thanks for all the input. Just where do I find the Book Bazaar on here? Could not find it? Thanks again for all the help.

Under "Community" in the menu bar at the top of this screen, go to the "Discussions" forum page.  Look for the Book Bazaar forum- it has a colorful tent icon next to it.
