I know that PBS doesn't permit advanced readers' copies, but what about a book that is marked "BOUND GALLEY?" It looks like a regular book, with an ISBN number and everything. Is this the same as a ARC?

This is the book that comes out one step AHEAD of an ARC in the publishing process. It is the copy that gets sent to the copy editors and sometimes to reviewers, and normally it still has a LOT of typos and other copy errors. Many publishers, a galley proof doesn't look like the final copy at all, but even if it does, the marking as a galley makes it unpostable here.
