This book was written by a couple who has three daughters. No sons. You can definitely tell Mrs. Burns has never actually parented a son when reading this book. The information (quotes, scientific information) is interesting but her advice is bland, at best. I would not recommend this as a resource for mothers of sons as I really do not think the author is capable of writing on the subject.
