I just finished this book with a smile on my face. It was a quick read and definitely worth picking up and reading. I have a passion and love for Paris so of course the title was what grabbed my attention.

There were times the book was a bit cheesy but honestly there were not many moments of that. In fact I enjoyed it because these moments and reactions were pretty real to life, at least how Ive would had reacted. Another reason I enjoyed this book was because it wasnt predictable. And I find myself wanting the same experience when I visit Paris.

I already have the next few books on my to read list of this same author because I really did enjoy her style and honesty of writing.

I don't generally like romances, but this one is good enough to pass on.

and the #1 sign that your husband is gay There's an article in the newspaper telling you so. With a photo, no less.

OKAY, so in retrospect, maybe there were other signs that all was not well in Annabelle Essex's eighteen-year marriage. Now she had to take stock of her life.

She had a wonderful son in college. A job she hated. And a meddlesome sister who insisted that this crisis was really an opportunity in disguise. After all, Annabelle had some dreams left: Paris (she'd always wanted to go) and art (she was a closet painter). So said sister enrolled her in a contest: winner gets a three-month artist-in-residence fellowship in the City of Light. Annabelle was horrified. She couldn't just give up, could she? Trade in the job she hated for three months in the city she'd never stopped dreaming about? She'd never win it.

BUT what if she did?

Totally unbelievable, yet so beautifully written you can forgive that. I read it in one sitting.
