I received a book today.  Well my mother received a book today in care of my daugther at her address (different state).  My daughter normally spends the summer with my mother and I have requested that books be sent to her.  According to my mother, the book was post-marked June 15, 2012.  It was NOT a book I'd ever requested.  Checking out the shipper's name, I was able to see that I had requested and received another book from this person around the same time frame.  I've sent a PM alerting her that the mystery book was received-- which from receiving the Help topics-- appears all that is required of me to do.  Has anyone else had this happen? Is there anything else I should do?

Thanks!

The sender may discover that she accidently re-used a old label from her computer memory instead of printing a new label.  If the book was supposed to go to someone else then she may want you (or your mother) to send it on.  In that case she'll need to give you a credit to cover the postage and provide the address of the intended recipient. Or she may want you to send it back to her. Either way, to send it, she'll need to get a credit to you.  If she chooses not to pursue it, the book is yours to re-post if you want tp or you can donate it, etc.

I had that exact thing happen once. The first transaction had been a mess, she had sent the wrong book then and I had to swap with someone else. A few weeks later I got another book with the printout from the book I received a few weeks prior. I pmed her but never heard back. It's still sitting on my shelf, nothing else to do.
