Ok,so my younger brother asked me "do I remember thsi movie" and I can BUT I cannot remember the title .I googled it to death to no avail.Maybe someone here will know/?

-we watched it when  we were kids so its probbaly from the late 60's 70's."Someone was always looking out an attic window. The big thing that sticks out is that there was a woman/old lady/daughter CHAINED in an attic. That much I am positive about.I "think" maybe there was some guy who was chasing another woman around teh house intending to do her harm???

Not much to go on I know but any thoughts????????????

Thanks,

Stacy

Wasn't there an Amityville movie that had a chained women-ghost in the attic window ? And the guys always chased the women in Amityville.

My first thought was flowers in the attic, but I think that must be more recent 80's(?).  And they weren't chained just locked in.  Sorry, not much help!

Nope none of those. It was in color and Im thinking maybe it took place in a big house-maybe a farmhouse and maybe the guy who broke in was a biker?I can "see" the guy in my head but I dont know his name.It was definatly pre-80's.Im going to kill my brother for asking me this.I spent A TON of time looking through old movie titles and descritions on a website I found. Thanks for trying everyone! And please if you think you know it-post away!!!!!!

Boy, that description doesn't ring a bell with me and I'm usually pretty good with old horrors.  Do you remember if the person in the attic was "normal" or were they chained for a reason.

You guys beat me to it.  The Shuttered Room was the only thing that popped in my head and that's why I wanted to know if the person locked up was normal.   I love that movie - creepy & atmospheric.  Carole Lynley was so beautful and Oliver Reed was such a bad boy!

I was thinking Burnt Offerings too. Funny that Ollie Reed was in both.
